iTero® Element Intraoral Scanner
No messy impressions here.
The iTero Element intraoral scanner uses a small handheld wand to capture a detailed digital model of your teeth and bite in minutes.
These highly accurate scans give Dr. Curtis valuable information for treatment planning and can be used to create digital models for braces, Invisalign® clear aligners, retainers, and other orthodontic appliances.
For you, that means a more comfortable scanning experience and a detailed view of your smile without traditional impression material.
Digital X-Rays
Digital X-rays give Dr. Curtis a detailed look at what’s happening beneath the surface, including the position of your teeth, roots, and developing teeth.
The images are available almost immediately, allowing us to evaluate your smile efficiently and use that information alongside your exam and digital scans to develop a personalized treatment plan.
Digital X-rays also use less radiation than traditional film-based dental X-rays.
CBCT 3D Imaging
Sometimes, planning the right treatment requires a more comprehensive view.
Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) creates detailed 3D images of your teeth, jaws, roots, and surrounding structures. Unlike a traditional two-dimensional X-ray, CBCT allows Dr. Curtis to examine your smile from multiple angles and better understand how its different structures relate to one another.
When clinically appropriate, this additional information can support more precise diagnosis and treatment planning, particularly for complex orthodontic needs.
