Your initial visit to our office gives us the opportunity
to discuss the many possibilities and alternatives of orthodontic
treatment. Dr. Bayer or Dr. Curtis will examine your teeth, the surrounding
tissue, your jaw joints, facial profile, growth patterns,
and your smile line. We will review your dental history and
answer any questions you may have.
At the end of this visit, you will know what orthodontic
problems you have and how they can be corrected, the estimated
treatment time needed and the projected costs.
Diagnostic records are made to determine the best course
of treatment. Complete diagnostic records typically include
plaster models of the teeth, photos of the face and teeth,
and xrays of the teeth. This information is used to create
a custom treatment plan for each patient.
Quality treatment in a patient-centered environment is the
primary goal of our team. To achieve this it is impossible
to see every patient at the time they may desire. Our schedule
has been designed for the convenience of our patients with
some very specific objectives:
- To accommodate patients at their scheduled time
- To allow personal communication throughout treatment
- To minimize excessive time away from school and/or work.
Current orthodontic systems no longer require adjustments
every 3 to 5 weeks because of the advancements in research
and technology. High technology, lower friction braces and
thermal active wires have revolutionized orthodontic treatment,
resulting in fewer adjustment appointments and a shorter time
in braces. We are pleased to offer this space-age technology
to you. The entire staff is committed to continuously improving
patient treatment procedures with the latest proven resources
and knowledge.
You will be reminded of your appointments by telephone via
our automated, computerized "Housecalls" system.
Patients and/or parents may also access their appointment
or financial information via our web site via our interactive
web site. Thus, you have a 24-hours a day, 7 days a week secretary
in our office.
Our office works with you in every way to make orthodontic
treatment easy for everyone. We offer many payment plans that
can include the down payment, in-house financing, discounts
for second child's treatment, and discounts for payment in
full. Our treatment coordinator works with the family to make
the most feasible payment plan. For your convenience, we accept
payment by Visa, Mastercard, or Discover Card. Payments may
be made online.
If you have orthodontic insurance, we will take care of all
the necessary paperwork for you. Please submit the necessary
insurance information in the "new-patient form"
section so we can determine, prior to your first office visit,
your eligibility and the amount of coverage you have.
