Getting Started

Your First Visit

Your initial visit to our office gives us the opportunity to discuss the many possibilities and alternatives of orthodontic treatment. Dr. Bayer or Dr. Curtis will examine your teeth, the surrounding tissue, your jaw joints, facial profile, growth patterns, and your smile line. We will review your dental history and answer any questions you may have.

At the end of this visit, you will know what orthodontic problems you have and how they can be corrected, the estimated treatment time needed and the projected costs.

Diagnostic records are made to determine the best course of treatment. Complete diagnostic records taking a virtual scan with the new state of the art technology, photos of the face and teeth, and xrays of the teeth. This information is used to create a custom treatment plan for each patient.

Regular Appointments

Quality treatment in a patient-centered environment is the primary goal of our team. To achieve this it is impossible to see every patient at the time they may desire. Our schedule has been designed for the convenience of our patients with some very specific objectives:iTero Scanner

  1. To accommodate patients at their scheduled time
  2. To allow personal communication throughout treatment
  3. To minimize excessive time away from school and/or work.

Space-Age Technology

Current orthodontic systems no longer require adjustments every 3 to 5 weeks because of the advancements in research and technology. High technology, lower friction braces and thermal active wires have revolutionized orthodontic treatment, resulting in fewer adjustment appointments and a shorter time in braces. We are pleased to offer this space-age technology to you. The entire staff is committed to continuously improving patient treatment procedures with the latest proven resources and knowledge.

It is more flexible for military, deployments and school/work schedules.

Appointment Reminders

You will be reminded of your appointments by reminder text messages that you receive 24 hours and 2 hours before your scheduled appointment and also emails, if that is a better communication method. Patients and/or parents may also access their appointment or financial information via our web site via our interactive web site. Thus, you have a 24-hours a day, 7 days a week secretary in our office.

If you have orthodontic insurance, we will take care of all the necessary paperwork for you. Please submit the necessary insurance information in the "new-patient form" section so we can determine, prior to your first office visit, your eligibility and the amount of coverage you have.
